Firestone Review
Firestone excellent walk-in service
They started working on my truck about 10:15, not bad for a walk-in on Sunday morning. Just before 11:00 the mechanic comes in with the worst possible news: the engine is seized. He doesn't know exactly what happened, but clearly nothing is going to get fixed today.
They offer to keep it in the bay until Monday when I can have it towed to my local mechanic, or in the parking lot so I can get it after hours, whatever I want. They didn't push me to have them fix it, try to sell me any additional service, etc.
If that wasn't enough, here's the big shock - the total cost. Zero. Nada. Nothing. For forty minutes work on Sunday, overnight indoor storage, they want absolutely nothing from me. Even though they know I'm not local and will probably never be back, and probably won't even be able to recommend them to someone.
I'm stunned. Impressed. And grateful.
