    I took my car to the Lakewood Firestone a few weeks ago for a simple oil change. I get a call from them saying that a number of things are wrong including that the timing belt needed to be replaced. I told them to go ahead and do it because I didn't want to have any issues with my car. Before I took my car in, it ran just fine. After they replaced the timing belt, it started making a new noise. So I took it back a few days later and they said they would check it out. I will say they were kind enough to look at it again and not charge me for the inspection. But, now the car squeaks...     My recent experience with Firestone leaves lots of questions, with the usual blather trying to cover their a--. Their $99.00 charge to analyze a vehicle is unreasonable when the customer, me, tells them what is wrong. I would have expect their $21.00 would be more in line with reasonableness. Plus, they mark parts up by more than 80%, and then state they are reasonable. Phooey... they have lost one more client. They don't want to make it right; they practice corporate greed as a routine.   • Did not keep up to promise time frame

    I went to Firestone shop, droping off my car for ties rotation and balancing on Wednesday 8/24/1 at 1pm, unfortunately, they did not live up to there time frame expectation. The sale man told me that the car would be ready by 3 pm but when I call back by 3pm he said it hasnt been work on yet and told me should be ready by 5pm. I said ok, then by 5pm I dropped by the shop and the car still hasn't been working on at all because he said they were too busy.
