  • Firestone broke my car

I brought my car to Firestone to fix the coolant leak. but the service person said he could not get the hood open. When trying to open the hood the service person damage the hood release. I have been able to open the without any problems, until bring it to Firestone. The service person told me they had to open the hood by taking off the bumper, which was strange since all they had to do is remove 2 bolts and the hood would open. I went to firestone on june 4th because my car kept shutting off and it was jerking, they estimated that it would cost me 1,500,00 to fix everything that is recommended to have my car run smoothly, they even gave me a 12 month guarantee but now here it is July 14 and I have already been back to them 4 times. On my 4th visit to them, I mentioned that my car was still shutting off and i was told by the worker who wrote down all of my car symptoms that I never ever told him about my car ever shutting off. He argued with me the whole time and even said to me that I was lieing. I was humiliated... More...

  • Refund

I took my Chevy Equinox 6 month ago to repair drive shaft. They told me that they replaced bearing. 1 month ago, This car was not derivable. Drive shaft was making huge sound & I drove my car 5 Miles /hr. But after I talked to my insurance company they towed my car to Chevy dealer. They had to replace my drive shaft. Cost me $1480. I asked Chevy the reason. They told me that Firestone installed drive shaft improperly. That made this damage. I asked Firestone manager to reimburse my cost of this repair. They said manger wll cal me back. But they are ignoring me. Please help. More...

  • Want my money back

I live in NJ. My daughter's car (my car) broke down in Port St. Lucie, FL on March 6, 2011. AAA towed her car to Firestone All American Tire and Service. They told me the engine blew and I agreed to have them replace it (with a rebuilt). The store manager was nice enough at the time. Got a quote and gave a deposit. Signed quote on 3/14/11. As of May 16 I still didn't have the car. They were rude, would not return my calls-if I did get the manager he would tell me it's going to take as long as it takes. I called Firestone back in March and had a 3 way call with them.... More...
